Obagi Nu-Dern Usage
- During application, use ½ gram of each product (the size of a pea).
- The Obagi Nu-Derm system contains alpha hydroxy acid, or AHA. AHA can increase skin’s sensitivity to the sun. For this reason, it’s important to practice proper suncare techniques while using the Obagi Nu-Derm system. Always wear a sunblock and protective clothing and avoid sun exposure between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, when UV rays are their strongest.
- Redness, dryness, and itchiness may occur within the first six weeks of treatment. These side effects are completely normal.
- If itchiness and redness become excessive, speak to your physician about discontinuing the use of the Obagi Nu-Derm system.
